Course Description

Clinical management of the athlete after concussion is constantly evolving and growing. While many aspects of concussion are treated in silos, we feel that it's imperative that the healthcare provider(s) working with these athletes feels confident in treating all aspects of concussion that fall within their practice acts and can efficiently identify when other members of the rehabilitation team need to be involved. This course is designed for healthcare professionals working in the sports setting who would like to improve their skills and knowledge in the assessment, treatment and management of sport-related concussion (SRC). This course promotes best practice by applying current evidence to address vestibular, oculomotor, cervical, balance, proprioceptive and movement deficits through lecture, discussion, case studies and videos of hands-on skills for self practice. This course is Live for 1 day and will run from 7:30AM-5:30PM. It has been approved for 8 CEUs for PTs and 22 CCUs for ATs.
